"Between Two Enemies"
During the French and Indian War it was common for the Cherokee to
work one against the other. They were viewed by the French to be
pivotal during the coming War. However, The Cherokee's would also
assisst the British if they thought they could get a better trade
agreement. In this painting, one of the few times I've painted
myself into it. The guy in the front. I've got two Cherokee's and a
Frenchman tracking British troops. They were not prepared for the
storm which blew in behind them and now they have the British in
front, so they were caught " between two enemies." |
